ALEX HILL WAS PLACED IN FOSTER CARE AFTER HER FATHER ADMITTED TO USING MARIJUANA ACCORDING TO THE Houston Press.
Joshua Hill told Texas child welfare investigators that he smoked after the child was in bed at night. A case worker determined that the father’s marijuana use and the mother’s medical condition (frequent seizures) warranted removal from the home.
The toddler had appeared healthy and happy with her parents, but she was placed into the foster care system in early 2013.
On Tuesday Alex’s foster mother, Sherill Small, was sentenced to life in prison for the July 2013 death of the little girl, who would have turned four on Friday.

NONI Carter sat in East Maitland Supreme Court for many days over the past month and cried for a little girl she never knew. "I was there for the child, and on many occasions I was the only one there," said Carter, of Thornton, about the seven-year-old, whose death by starvation at Hawks Nest in November 2007 shocked a nation and led to murder and manslaughter convictions against her parents this week.
Like many, Carter felt the child was a silent victim in this deep tragedy. Even the judge, Supreme Court Justice Robert Allan Hulme, felt moved to restore her dignity by going against NSW legal convention and allowing the child some manner of identification, ruling on Wednesday that the media could identify her in reports on the case by her middle name, Ebony.

The Georgia Supreme Court on Monday tossed out some incriminating evidence against Henry County foster parents charged with murdering a 2-year-old child in their care.
The justices ruled that information found in electronic devices owned by Jennifer and Joseph Rosenbaum cannot be used against them because law enforcement waited far too long to obtain warrants to search the devices.

Two years after a BuzzFeed News investigation, the Senate introduces the Child Welfare and Accountability Act to track foster care contractors.
Two-year-old Alexandria Hill was murdered by a foster mother recruited and trained by the US's largest for-profit foster care company, The Mentor Network.
At least 86 children died in a 10-year period while in the custody of a giant for-profit foster care company, according to an investigation by the US Senate Committee on Finance. In only 13 of those deaths did the company, The Mentor Network, conduct an internal investigation, the committee found.
The Senate committee said the company “falsely” claimed that its child death rate was in line with the fatality rates in the overall foster care system.
The Senate probe started in part because of a series by BuzzFeed News that profiled problems at the company, which was the largest for-profit foster care provider in the country. In one case a 2-year-old girl who was placed at a home run by Mentor was murdered by her foster mother. In another case, a series of boys were sexually abused by a Mentor foster father, whom Mentor paid as a foster parent for years despite a series of red flags. He had requested that he be sent boys who were “male, white, any age.”

Other than the Jack Sullivan case back in 2008, Bradyn Dillon and Jakob Oakey’s stories are the only deaths Canberrans and Australians are aware of (and we continue to look for other kids’ stories for answers on why they are dying). Like Jakob, Jack’s death would not have made the ACT Child Death Review reports. due to him have being 18 at the time he died despite the horrific failings of Canberra’s CYPS in his case. Where are the other AT LEAST 21 children who have died since 2012 and how many more have died in 2017/18? Canberra has given our people no confidence, transparency or oversight to prevent our children being abused, neglected and dying when the government has been overseeing them.
In September 2016, ABC brought the presentation Behind Closed Doors of the deaths and (just some of) the failures in Bradyn’s and Jakob’s cases. Of course since the airing of BCDs much, much more information has come out on both Jakob’s and Bradyn’s deaths and the depth of the failures in these two cases continue to build up due to the negligence and detrimental decision making of the Child and Young People Services (CYPS) in Canberra.
Since Behind Closed Doors aired the figures of Canberra children known to CYPS has risen by at least 8 (which of course does not include neglected and abused ca…re leavers – such as Jakob – who died as a result of their time in care). The figures known at the time BCD aired stood at 13 (more girls than boys) plus Jakob and Bradyn. A new review is now out. The figures as of November 2016 (over a year ago) now stand at AT LEAST 21 due to the writing of the reports some deaths are not shown. For example, Bradyn died in 2016 yet there is no record of a child death at all known to CYPS for that year. If there is less than a certain number (4 or 5 deaths) in a year, then NO death is noted (as I understand it). This is why there are AT LEAST 21 (but we know at least 22 including Bradyn) who died who were known to CYPS.

Latest reports published by the NSW government are deliberately misleading the amount of children who die under their watch. First Pru Goward blended the deaths of children in foster care with those who were “known to the system”. Now any child placed on a Guardianship Order is not even “classified” as being in out of home care, meaning those statistics have been removed/hidden also
It seems our government will stop at nothing to keep those shiny dollars coming in for the golden stakeholders, whom thrive exponentially whilst obliterating families.

This could be ur daughter or sister dead. I can’t explain everything here it’s too long. DCP took my grandkids who were being cared for to end up being abused with burn marks.
DCP put my 25yr old daughter Carly in a back shed on September 19 2018 (last year), ending her life to save her children by what they done to her & the assault on my 4yr old Granddaughter by foster carers - who were cleared. Most foster carers are cleared of abuse and or murder.
Burn marks on 3yr old little CJ that were ignored, we don’t know what other abuse has happened, total EVIL power driven controlling bullying women & men against defenceless broken mothers ... the gutless cowards.
If it can get to the High Court in front of a jury, i’m positive they will convict them.

A WOMAN caring for a 20-month-old foster baby has been sensationally charged with his murder in the latest case to rock the embattled child protection system. The 40-year-old carer, who cannot be named under NSW law, was arrested yesterday over the suspicious death of the toddler in 2015. The fatality occurred in a small rural town 100km northwest of Dubbo. A police statement confirming the woman was “charged with murder and refused bail” comes after The Daily Telegraph made multiple inquiries. The newspaper had discovered the Aboriginal child had a broken femur and multiple bruises on his face at the time of his death. His biological mother said she was “desperate for answers” and had been “left in the dark” by the government and the foster care provider — Uniting.
“We didn’t even get to see him until three weeks after he died.” The mother said she was the victim of an abusive partner and reached out for temporary help until she could provide a safe home for her son. Two months later he was dead.

The birth family of Elsie Scully-Hicks have said she would “still be alive today” if she had not been removed from their care by social services.

Do the claims of good intentions really outweigh the bodies of the children dying in Ontario's child protection system every year?
Do you trust a corporate agency that refuses to register with the College of Social Work, that refuses to cooperate with Ombudsman and the Privacy Commissioner unless the law in Ontario specifically says they have to?
How did 92 children in care die between 2008/2012 according to the Ontario PDRC report? The PDRC say it's a complete mystery and no further investigation is required. Between 2008/2012 natural causes was listed as the least likely way for a child in care to die at 7% of the total deaths reviewed while "undetermined cause" was listed as the leading cause of death of children in Ontario's child protection system at 43% of the total deaths reviewed.

Mothers who died because of Child Protection
This section is dedicated to the mothers who lost their lives because of the torture to themselves and their children at the hands of the state child protection authorities.
Mothers in every state in Australia have been unnecessarily lost dir to there being no rules or laws that child protection are forced to abide by.
Innocent children are being drugged, raped and murdered under the care of the state, whilst child protection workets turn a blind eye - because it doesn’t suit their agenda or the “perfect” family they created to make up for their own mesed up childhoods.
How many more mothers have to die at the hands of child protection before the government acknowledges what is happening.
