Darryl Ryder's family worried about his whereabouts

Police are renewing their call for information on the whereabouts of Alice Springs man Darryl Ryder.

Mr Ryder was reported missing shortly after a funeral for his brother, who was killed after an incident at the Todd River last year.

A family member saw Mr Ryder in Darwin earlier this year but there has been no sign of him since.

Senior Sergeant Michael White says there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his disappearance.

"He hasn't been spoken to by family since June this year when he was seen at Casuarina," he said.

"At that stage that family member didn't know he was missing, and his mother is concerned that she hasn't heard from him since October this year."

Mr Ryder is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, 175 centimetres tall, with a medium build and shoulder-length hair.
