"PUBLIC INTEREST DISCLOSURE STATEMENT NUMBER 1/12"

We will not be silenced 604a7This is an enquiry e-mail via http://www.alecomm.com/ from:

"To work as a child protection officer is not a easy task and requires alot from you physically, emotionally and mentally.

Although I appreciate that there are workers out in the sector who conduct themselves in a unprofessional manner most majority dont.

I am not named on your name and shame wall, but working in the sector means alot of people become unhappy with you and therefore will go to great lengths to cause you harm.

Please be mindful of the fact that most of us want to keep children safe and this includes our own.  It is known within our sector that people have intended and caused harm to staff and their families.

I personally think you should not directly name workers maybe just the Community Service Centre".

This is Alecomm's reply : Dear Child Protection Officer,

First of all, after correcting all your spelling and literacy mistakes, i would like to take the time to educate you a little, given the (somewhat) ignorance of some of your statements.

  1. Let me inform you that our response in large to your email is >>> the picture to your right.  We WILL not be silenced.  We will not stand down to total government corruption and denial of those purporting to wish to protect children.
  2. From the hundreds, almost thousands, of complaints that Alecomm has received in the past three years regarding the conduct of Child Protection Workers Australia-wide, I would be very surprised if there would be anything more than one in ten social workers that are not corrupt.  Remembering that only those who wish to name the abusers of their children (Child Protection Workers) on the "Wall of Shame" [as you put it].  This list is an official document / list and as it states is a Preliminary DoCS / DHS / Child Protection Worker Complaint.  It is designed for those persons wishing to indirectly notify the worker and anybody else of the workers corrupt and unethical actions taken with respect to their children.
  3. Thirdly, Alecomm, does not directly name any workers.  These registers are open to the public for their entry.  You could say these are a little similar to Notifications and Risk of Harms put in by Mandatory Reporters and other persons to people in your agency, however, Alecomm at least has the decency to let the public and the workers know what is being recorded about them.
  4. Last but not least, this article is now a Public Interest Disclosure Document as it has contained threats of what we determine to be a serious nature.

Thankyou for taking the time to send us your opinion.
