"DHS Wodonga and the unlimited tax-payer paid bites at the apple"

KV Prior Court Appearances 4f5b6If you have ever wondered why Child Protection is such a joke, part of it is because the child protection officers spend way too much time "playing school yard solicitors".  As much as we'd like to state that this case is a very rare one, we cannot - this case is typical of child protection nationwide and shows one of the biggest reasons DHS cannot protect children.  As you can see from this documentation - DHS have spent almost every week, in court for the past three years, trying to prove that this mother deserved to have her beautiful baby taken from her.

They have not - still to this day - yet they refuse to send the child home and to abide by the legislation and law set before them.  This DHS Wodonga case currently has its caseworkers in breach of over one hundred and fifty laws and departmental guidelines as well as breaches of crimes acts which come with serious jail time.  The child, as you can see, is still on Interim Accomodation Orders - which are only supposed to be granted until either the child returns home, or an application for failure of dispute resolution has been granted by the magistrate.  In either case, it is generally for twenty one days or less.

In this case, the twenty one days has been extended to over three years now.

And to top it off, even though DHS have never proven that the child needed protection in the first place, they have been given a hearing for full custody before the Irreconcilable Differences matter has been dealt with.  Furthermore, not once have DHS Wodonga provided any services to the mother, which could eliminate any risk of harms they felt jeopardised the baby living with the mother.

At this present time, with child protection running amok and accountable to nobody - nobody is safe.  Click to view the documentation listing of court procedure the mother has had to endure for the past three years, and the amount of times that DHS have failed to prove the child was in need of protection in any case - making this child, by all definitions of the law - KIDNAPPED.

TWENTY SEVEN TIMES the magistrate has said No, you have not proven your case DHS.  Seems that they get to continue to take mothers and children repeatedly to court until a magistrate finally gives in, or they submit just the right amount of lies, to get the ruling they are after.  This is by no means a democratic system.  This is a child protection system where kids are trafficked by unscrupulous DHS workers and kept with the unforgiving hand at the gavel.  When will enough be enough, and when will child protection officials start redefining the child protection system to what it is supposed to be.
