"When are the victims of Family Law going to get an apology?"

Justice for Children Austalia Logo e20dcWhen are the victims of Family Law going to get an apology?

When will the silence be broken and the truth be told?

Children are being abused and damaged by family law decisions now and every day.  They are living without the parent they love and want to be with.

In many cases they are forbidden to see or contact the mother who brought them up since they were born and who they love and want to be with.

The recognition that horrendous damage and wrongs were committed - on mothers and children in particular - because of the practices of forced adoption is well overdue.

But when are Senators and the general public going to recognise and talk about the equally horrendous and cruel effects of decisions being handed down in the name of Family Law in Australia every day?

Justice for Children Australia wants an apology to all those kids who are being brutalised by being forcibly removed from their mothers by Family Law and so-called child protection processes and to all the protective caring mothers who have been labelled and vilified by those same systems.

Barbara Holborow, courageouschampion of children’s rights who died in May 2012 wrote: “When a child is removed from its mother...she should receive grief counselling because the loss can be worse than a death”.

Children are losing meaningful contact with their mothers every day in the Family Law system.

Children who try to leave their abusive ‘home’ and go back to their mothers are condemned and treated as criminals, and their access to the parent  they love and want to live with is even further restricted.

They are told:” if you ever run away to your mother again she will go to jail”.

The children are the ones in jail.

And nobody seems to care.

When will these children get an apology?   When will their voices be heard?

Only the Queensland 4 have had any recognition – there many many more who are suffering in silence.

So-called best interest of parent is probably best to start for the FLAW in dealing with children custody dispute. It would be better just say it that FLAW NEVER care of what will happen with any children BUT parent. Why? Because children have NO dough to pay the revenue! True!

Many fathers are being robbed of their children too and had their rights abused too. So many mothers have defrauded the system and the relationships between fathers and their children and the consequence of that is the legal system can no longer appropriately establish who is the perpetrator. Sadly men are perpetrators and sadly mothers are too. The system needs to dramatically overhauled in the best interest of all.
