"Is it Discrimination toward a Newborn Baby to treat them different if there is Child Protection involvement?"

218122 177846112266441 100001231607657 482457 7277375 nSouth Western Sydney Area Health have developed new policies to incorporate how a newborn baby will be treated if there is Department of Community Services involvement.

In general there are very strict and mandatory guidelines that are designed to care for mum and bub, and these include leaving the mother and baby to "room in" together, ensuring the mother is assisted in breastfeeding the baby, not giving pacifiers to babies etc.

These mandatory guidelines incorporate the newborn babies basic human rights and also promote wellbeing for both mother and baby, in that, 1. breastfeeding helps the uterus retract and release the placenta as well as stopping haemhorraging, 2. ensures that bubby receives his or her colostum which is the critical breastmilk known for assisting the babies immune system and helps assist gastroeintestinal issues.

So how is the newborn baby being discriminated against when there is Department of Community Services involvement you ask?  Well first of all, nurses are applying the same old attrocious procedure of removing the child from its mother literally upon birth.  They are also preventing the baby from being breastfeed, from receiving colostum, and prevent the mother and baby from being together at all, including for the mother to even look at her newborn baby.

This is all before a court has even had the chance to determine whether there is a real risk of abuse to the child.

So what is happening in essence is the baby is being abused from the moment it is born, by the people claiming to be protecting it.

You may think that Department of Community Services involvement is limited to drug addicted mothers, alcoholics and maybe even prostitutes or just plain abusive mums.  However this is entirely wrong and innocent babies and mothers are being punished for overly dillusional workers who have nothing better to do than abuse an otherwise health newborn baby and mother.

Department of Community Service caseworkers receive risk of harms by mandatory reporters, and once they find out there is a pregnant mother, the hospital with work with the Department of Community Services to ensure that they are notified prior to the mother giving birth, and upon birth also.  They absolutely refuse to investigate first to determine whether or not the risk of harms are fact or myth, instead chosing to swoop in and take the child from the mother direct upon birth.

Many of these children have been sent home after the department has done their investigation and determined that there was no need for removal - not that they would ever admit this.  In the meantime these innocent children are being denied everything in the world that is known to them and everything that they need.  This is so unnecessary because even if the child is not going to be placed with the mother, is there really a major risk of harm to the child being in hospital with mother?  And doesn't it seem that more harm is being done by preventing the baby from having the basic necessities of life, just because DoCs have made a determination that they are going to remove a child?

Isn't this a very dangerous and mean discriminatory action to disregard mandatory guidelines that are designed for help protect mum and bub, and to let an unqualified (medically) DoCS worker decide what a newborn baby does and does not need because they have made a determination without the Courts consent?  Since when is a Department of Community Services caseworker more qualified to determine what is in the best interest of a newborn baby then hospital staff?  And isn't this direct discrmimination toward a newborn baby to develop these new policies that exclude newborn babies from receiving what they are rightfully entitled to and need?

Disgusting Inhumane Unjustified Cruel Callous and Cold are only a few words that relate to what DoCS NSW are doing to mothers and new borns right across the State of NSW at the moment.

The public need to know that FORCED ADOPTIONS are being condoned by Pru Goward and her wretched Dpt all the way into Parliament.

Who does this malice , toxic and hostile Dpt think they are kidding. During the apology to FORCED ADOPTIO Victims ..this Dpt is on a rampage to steal as many New Born Babes as they can in order to fester up as much Dirty Lucre as they can.

This Dpt is a bloody disgrace to the Nation.
